SEO is the acronym for Search Engine Optimization. SEO takes an existing site and makes it into a site that search engines rank higher due to certain optimizations. This takes time and research. A lot of research goes into SEO and what keywords to target for a website. Certain keywords are harder to achieve then other keywords, such as 'Apple'. Instead of trying to achieve 'Apple' at the beginning, we would research other keywords with that keyword to come up with a reasonable keyphrase. Such as 'Sour Apples' or 'Green Apples'.
